This hilarious, snarky, and sometimes quite touching one-man show will make you a David Sedaris fan if you’re not one already. An out-of-work writer decides to become a Macy’s elf during the holiday crunch. As he sees thousands of Santa’s visitors, he becomes battle-weary and bitter, occasionally taking out his frustrations on the children and parents.

When a different kind of store Santa enters, he is thrust into an uncharacteristic moment of good will, just before his employment runs out.
