Venice Theatre's education and outreach department offers one of the most comprehensive year-round theatre programs in Southwest Florida.  Students of all ages (pre-kindergarten through adult) engage in programs to explore, grow and develop!

Why Performing Arts?

The performing arts encourage creative expression while teaching discipline, problem-solving techniques, communication and self-esteem. Most importantly, they develop creative thinking while engaging senses not normally engaged, thus increasing the opportunity for learning.

 The performing arts:

  • Develop both sides of the brain which is imperative for our students  - our future leaders and explorers.
  • Encourage creative expression and teach discipline.
  • Increase problem-solving techniques.
  • Boost team building and collaborative skills.
  • Encourage students to focus on process and technique rather than result.
  • Improve communication and self esteem.
