Volunteer of the Month . . .

. . . our January volunteer of the month has just been named, and she is . . . Carole Litt. Besides volunteering in the box office and dancing with The Silver Foxes, Carole decided she needed to find something else to do! So she took it upon herself to clean up the props department, organize it and make it all much easier to use. And now she’s become property mistress for productions as well. She’s made a huge difference, so Carole was voted Volunteer of the Month for January. Thanks Carole and congratulations!

Some great concerts coming in March . . .

. . . and all of them proven favorites at VLT - cuz they always sell out! So move now to get your tickets for:

MARCH 4-5, 2007

Red, Hot & . . . Blue

Back at VLT for a third year, this hugely popular group – known as the "hardest working entertainers in Branson" – offers their unique show of music through the years, featuring great musical favorites, lively choreography and lots of laughs.

Sunday at 8:00 p.m.; Monday at 4:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m.

Co-sponsors are Merrill Lynch and Jacaranda Trace

MARCH 11, 2007

The Sounds of Harry James and the Andrews Sisters

featuring Charly Raymond and the Apple Blossoms (one of whom is VLT’s own Kimberly Gardner-Kollar), this group has been appearing at VLT for nearly a decade and selling out every time!

Sunday at 8:00 p.m.

Co-sponsors Merrill Lynch and Jacaranda Trace

MARCH 12, 2007

The Mills Brothers

Back for their second engagement at VLT, the tight and sweet harmonies of The Mills Brothers are still unmatched. All of your Mills’ Brothers favorites in a show that continues to perform to sold out houses across the country.

Monday at 4:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m.

Sponsored by the Theatre Guild of VLT

We’ve confirmed the date . . .

. . . for the 2007 volunteer party! Make a note all you VLT volunteers. It’ll be April 22 at 4:30 p.m. There are two matinees that day – Godspell in the MainStage and School for Wives in the Pinkerton, so P-U-H-L-E-E-E-Z-E don’t come an hour early and mill around the lobby. That would be a mess! AND very confusing to our audiences.

And a tidbit:

• No ‘official’ preview for School for Wives on March 10 - just March 11. So if you’re entitled to preview tickets to this show, make a note.

Okay, here are the dates:

FEBRUARY 13 - Opening Night: Golf, The Musical, a VLT Cabaret in the Pinkerton Theatre

FEBRUARY 20 - Opening Night: The Full Monty, on MainStage (through March 18)

FEBRUARY 25-26 - Concert: The Kingston Trio on MainStage

MARCH 2 - Lecture: SILL lecture in MainStage (Sarasota Institute of Lifetime Learning)

MARCH 4-5 - Concert: Red, Hot & . . . Blue on MainStage

MARCH 11 - Concert: Sounds of Harry James and Andrews Sisters on MainStage

MARCH 12 - Concert: The Mills Brothers on MainStage

MARCH 11-12 - Auditions: Over the Tavern, 7:30 p.m. at the theatre (Dan Higgs directing)

MARCH 17-18 - Auditions: Anne of Green Gables 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, 5:00 p.m. on Sunday (Murray Chase directing)

MARCH 21 - Opening Night: The Silver Foxes Follies, on MainStage (through March 25)
